Okay, so yesterday I was totally stumped by this “235” thing. My buddy kept mentioning it in our group chat, and I was like, “Huh? What’s that?” I felt so out of the loop!
First, I tried to guess. Was it some new slang? A code for something? Nope, nothing I came up with made sense in the context.
So, I jumped onto Google. You know, the usual routine. Typed in “235 meaning,” and bam! A whole bunch of stuff popped up, mostly about uranium isotopes and chemistry things. My eyes just glazed over. This was clearly NOT what my friend was talking about.

Digging Deeper
I added some keywords, like “urban dictionary” and “slang,” trying to narrow it down. Still mostly science stuff, but then I saw a few forum posts hinting at it being a location reference, maybe related to area codes or something.
Feeling like a detective, I went to our group chat history and scrolled back to find where he first mentioned it. He was talking about some awesome street art he saw. Bingo!
I combined my clues. Street art, location… I figured maybe it was a street address or something nearby. I opened Google Maps and typed in “235” followed by the city we were talking about.
Eureka!
And there it was! Turns out, “235” referred to the address of a building, this really cool old warehouse with amazing murals, which becomes famous locally, I even can say. Mystery solved!
I replied to my friend in the chat, finally understanding the reference. He just laughed and said, “Took you long enough!” Gotta love friends who keep you on your toes, right?
It may be a simple and local inside joke, anyway I did the searching and got the answer, that’s all about 235!
