Okay, so the other day I kept seeing the number 814 everywhere. On license plates, receipts, clocks – it was weirding me out! I’m not usually one for superstitions, but it felt like something, you know?
So, I started poking around online. Turns out, 814 is what some people call an “angel number.” I’m still a bit skeptical, but the stuff I read was kinda interesting.
My Little Experiment with 814
I figured, “What the heck?” and decided to treat it like a little experiment. The internet said 814 is all about abundance and manifesting good stuff. So, I picked something I’ve been wanting to work on – getting more freelance clients for my writing business.
Here’s what I did:
- Wrote it down: First, I grabbed my notebook and jotted down “814 – More freelance clients!” Just to make it feel a bit more “official.”
- Visualized: I closed my eyes for a few minutes each day and imagined myself landing new projects, feeling confident, and, well, making more money. I am a litte bit embarrassed to share visualization with you guys.
- Took action: This was the important part. I didn’t just sit around waiting for clients to magically appear. Instead, I spent an extra hour each day sending out pitches and updating my online portfolio.
The Results (So Far…)
Okay, so it’s only been like, a week. But…things are actually happening! I landed two new clients – smaller projects, but still! – and I’ve had a couple of promising leads. It’s definitely more activity than I’ve had in a while.
Now, am I saying that 814 is some magic number that instantly brought me success? Nah. I think it was more about the mindset shift. Seeing that number everywhere reminded me to focus on my goals, and that focus pushed me to take action.
In my humble opnion, the number itself might have been a coincidence, a little nudge from the universe, or whatever. But it got me to pay attention and actually do something. And that’s probably the real “magic” right there. I may continue to do my little experiment.
