So, I’ve been messing around with tarot cards lately, just for fun, you know? And I stumbled upon this card, the Temperance card. It got me thinking, maybe I should try to apply its message to my daily life. I mean, why not, right?
First off, I grabbed my tarot deck and shuffled the cards real good. Then, I laid them out on the table and focused on the Temperance card. It shows an angel pouring water between two cups, which, I guess, is all about balance and harmony.
I decided to start small. I made a list of things in my life that felt a bit out of whack. Work, social life, me-time, you name it. I realized I was spending way too much time on work and not enough on, well, anything else.

Daily Changes
- Started setting a timer for work tasks. When the timer dings, I take a break, no matter what.
- Made it a point to call a friend or family member each day. Just a quick chat, nothing major.
- Dusted off my old guitar and started playing for at least 15 minutes a day. It’s rusty, but it’s something.
- Started a meditation, Just five minutes in the morning. It is not a long time, but enough to make me feel good.
Honestly, it wasn’t easy at first. Old habits die hard, you know? But I kept at it. I even put a picture of the Temperance card on my desk as a reminder.
After a few weeks, I actually started to feel a difference. I wasn’t as stressed out, and I felt like I had more control over my day. It’s like I found a little bit of that balance the angel in the card was all about.
It’s not like my life is perfect now or anything. But I’m learning to juggle things a bit better, just like those cups in the Temperance card. And who knows, maybe this whole tarot thing isn’t so crazy after all. I mean I will keep going on this, maybe a little bit of temperance can make some difference.
