The Devil Card & Capricorn: Understanding the Tarot Link.

The Devil Card & Capricorn: Understanding the Tarot Link.

Okay, so I’ve been diving into this whole tarot thing lately, and something that really caught my eye was the connection between Capricorn and the Devil card. It seemed kinda harsh at first, so I wanted to figure out what was up.

My Little Tarot Experiment

First, I grabbed my tarot deck and pulled out the Devil card. Just looking at it, you know, it’s pretty intense. There are these figures chained up, and it just screams “stuck” and “trapped.”

Then, I started digging into what people say about this card online. I read a bunch of stuff, and it kept coming back to this idea of being trapped by bad habits, addictions, or just plain old overdoing it. It’s about those things that feel good in the moment but end up messing you up in the long run.

Next, I thought about Capricorn. I have a couple of Capricorn friends, and honestly, they’re some of the most driven, ambitious people I know. But I also noticed that sometimes, that drive can turn into, like, a real obsession. They can get so focused on their goals that they forget about everything else. It seems to be that all work no play vibe.

So, I started piecing it together. The Devil card isn’t saying Capricorns are evil or anything. It’s more like a warning, or maybe a reflection of that potential dark side of ambition. It showed how being super focused can be a strength, but it can also lead you into some unhealthy territory if you’re not careful.

  • Recognizing Patterns : I did this, it made realize when I get too caught up in things.
  • Finding that Balance : I also had to balance the whole picture, you have to get some air.

I started thinking about my own habits, too. Where am I maybe a little too focused? Where am I letting things get out of control? It was a pretty eye-opening experience, to be honest. I guess the main thing I realized is that the Devil card is not about some outside force messing with you, but rather the parts of ourselves that we need to check.
