Alright, so today I decided to tackle project “numéro 32”. Honestly, I picked it mostly because the name sounded cool. I had this vague idea of what I wanted to achieve, something about… well, I wasn’t entirely sure, but it felt right.
I started by, you know, just messing around. I created a new folder on my desktop, named it “numéro 32” (obviously), and then just stared at it for a good five minutes. Inspiration wasn’t exactly striking.
Then, I opened up my trusty text editor. I didn’t even know what language I was going to use, I just needed to type something. So I started writing down some random thoughts, pseudo-code-ish gibberish, just to get the ball rolling.

The Messy Middle
- First attempt: Total disaster. I tried to jump in too quickly and ended up with a tangled mess of code that did absolutely nothing.
- Second attempt: Slightly better. I started with a basic structure, a simple loop, and tried to build from there. Still, I kept hitting walls.
- Third attempt: Okay, now we’re getting somewhere! I took a break, grabbed a cup of coffee, and came back with a fresh perspective. I rewrote a key part of the code, and it finally started to click.
It was a lot of trial and error, I mean, a lot. I probably deleted more lines of code than I actually kept. But slowly, painfully, something started to emerge. I kept adding little bits here and there, testing after each change, making sure I didn’t break anything (again).
Finally, Something Works!
After what felt like forever, I finally had something that resembled a working program. It wasn’t pretty, the code was probably a nightmare, but it did what I wanted it to do (more or less). I ran it a few times, just to be sure, and yeah, it worked! A small victory, but a victory nonetheless.
So, that’s “numéro 32”. It’s not going to win any awards, but it’s mine, and I built it from scratch. And honestly, that’s a pretty good feeling.
