Okay, so I’ve been diving into this whole “life path number” thing, and my number is 6. Apparently, that means I’m all about nurturing, responsibility, and… potentially, wealth? I was curious, so I decided to see if I could actually do anything with this information.
My Little Experiment Begins
First, I looked up what life path number 6 supposedly means for finances. Some stuff about attracting abundance through service and creativity popped up. Sounded nice, but kinda vague.
So, I brainstormed. What am I good at? What do I enjoy? I love helping people, and I’m pretty decent at organizing and planning. Hmmm…
- I started offering to help friends and family with their projects. Small stuff, like organizing their closets, helping them plan a party, and walking a neighbor dog.
- Then, I focused on my day job, I work in an office . I started taking on more responsibilities, volunteering for extra tasks, really trying to be the “go-to” person.
- I Also dusted off an old hobby – I used to make handmade cards. I started making them again, just for fun at first.
The “Aha!” Moment
A couple of weeks in, something interesting happened. My boss noticed my extra effort at work and gave me a small bonus! It wasn’t a huge amount, but it was a definite sign that my “being of service” thing was actually… working?
Then, a friend I’d helped with a party suggested I start charging for my organizing skills. She said people would totally pay for that kind of help.
And get this – I posted some of my handmade cards on social media, and people actually wanted to buy them! I was shocked!
Small Steps, But Still Steps!
I’m not suddenly rich, not by a long shot. But I’ve definitely seen a shift. By leaning into the supposed “strengths” of my life path number – service, responsibility, creativity – I’ve actually created some small income streams.
I set up a very basic spreadsheet to track my extra earnings. It’s not fancy, but seeing those numbers, even if they’re small, is super motivating.
It’s still early days, but I’m feeling pretty good about this whole experiment. I’m learning that maybe there’s something to this life path number stuff after all. Or maybe it’s just that when you focus on being helpful and using your talents, good things tend to happen. Either way, I’m going to keep at it and see where it takes me!
