Okay, so this morning I decided to pull a “daily angel card” to see if I could get some guidance or inspiration for the day. I’ve been feeling a little lost lately, so I figured, why not?
First, I grabbed my favorite deck – the one with the really pretty artwork. I shuffled the cards a few times while trying to clear my mind and just focus on, like, the universe or whatever. You know, trying to be all zen.
My Drawing Process
- Shuffled the deck while focusing.
- Picked a card at random.
- Looked up the card’s meaning in the little booklet that comes with the deck.
Then, I closed my eyes, took a deep breath, and picked a card. I flipped it over, and it was the “Harmony” card. Honestly, my first thought was, “Well, duh, who doesn’t want harmony?” But then I started reading the little description in the booklet that comes with the cards.
It talked about finding balance in your life and resolving conflicts. And that actually resonated with me because I’ve been having some tension with a friend lately. We had a bit of a disagreement, and things have been awkward * “Harmony” card actually hit different.
So, instead of just thinking, “Oh, cool, harmony,” I decided to actually do something about it. I sent my friend a text, just a simple “Hey, wanna grab coffee and chat?” message.
She responded, We ended up meeting, and we actually talked things out. It wasn’t perfect, but we both felt a lot better * I think we are in a great way.
So, yeah, that’s my daily angel card experience. It wasn’t some magical revelation, but it did push me to take a small step towards resolving a real-life issue. Maybe there’s something to this whole angel card thing after * I will try it tomorrow.
