Okay, so, “Five of Wands future”, huh? I gotta be honest, I’ve been messing around with Tarot cards for a little while now, mostly just for fun and some self-reflection. I thought I’d try a little experiment today and document the whole thing.
First, I grabbed my deck. It’s a pretty standard Rider-Waite deck, nothing fancy. I shuffled the cards, like, really shuffled them, while trying to focus on the general concept of “my future.” I’m not super strict about the whole “cleansing the deck” thing every single time, but I did give it a good knock, just in case.
Then, I laid out the cards. I just did a simple one-card pull, because, you know, baby steps. And wouldn’t you know it, the Five of Wands popped up.

My Initial Reaction
My gut reaction? “Oh, great. Conflict.” Seriously, that’s what usually comes to my head when I see this card. It’s a bunch of dudes seemingly fighting with sticks, right? Not exactly the most optimistic picture for the future.
Digging a Little Deeper
But then, I started to think about it a bit more. It’s not always about literal fighting. Sometimes, the Five of Wands can represent challenges, disagreements, or even just a general feeling of being overwhelmed by competing priorities.
I think about what this could be about, maybe there are many options in front of me.
- Maybe I’m going to have some arguments with my coworkers?
- Perhaps it means I’ll be facing a tough decision where there’s no clear “right” answer?
- Could it be hinting at some internal conflict I need to work through?
The Future
I’m still not entirely sure what to make of * I’ve decided to take it as a heads-up. A reminder to be prepared for some potential bumps in the road, and to try to approach any challenges with a bit more patience and understanding.
I jotted down my thoughts in my journal, along with the date. I’ll probably revisit this in a few weeks or months and see if anything resonates. It’s all a bit of a learning process, really. It is kind of fun, and maybe, just maybe, it’ll help me navigate whatever’s coming my way.
