Four of Cups Reversed Advice: Stop Ignoring Your Intuition!

Okay, so I’ve been feeling kinda blah lately, you know? Just… uninspired. Like I’m stuck in a rut and can’t seem to get excited about anything. I decided to pull a tarot card for some guidance, and guess what I got? The Four of Cups reversed. I figured I’d share my little experiment and how it went down.

My Little Experiment

First, I grabbed my favorite tarot deck – the one with the really dreamy artwork. I shuffled the cards, focusing on my general feeling of “meh” and asking for some advice on how to shake things up. I cut the deck and flipped over the top card: Four of Cups, reversed.

Initially, I was like, “Huh?” I knew the Four of Cups upright is all about boredom and apathy, which felt pretty spot-on for my current mood. But reversed? I had to dig a little deeper.

So, I pulled out my trusty tarot guidebook (yeah, I’m not a pro, I need a little help sometimes!). It talked about how the reversed Four of Cups can be a sign of new opportunities, a renewed interest in life, and a willingness to step outside of your comfort zone. It’s like the universe saying, “Hey, wake up! There’s good stuff out there, you just gotta open your eyes!”

After reading and learning, I decided put to put it into practice. Following are serveral things I did:

  • Tried something new, I signed up for an improv class, and it’s terrifying but the good kind of terrifying.
  • Started saying “yes” more, accept a last-minute invitation to go hiking with a friend.
  • Reconnected with my old passions, and I’m feeling a little spark again.

It hasn’t been a magical overnight transformation, but I definitely feel a shift. I’m more aware of the little things, more open to possibilities, and less stuck in my head. It’s like the reversed Four of Cups gave me a gentle nudge to get back in the game, and so far, it’s working. Still a work in progress, but I’m feeling hopeful, which is a big change from where I was a week ago!
