My Experiment with “Yes/No” Fate
First, I grabbed my phone, and found a free tarot reading website. It was pretty basic, just a picture of a deck of cards and a big button that said something like, “Get Your Yes/No Answer.”
I took a deep breath, focused on my question as hard as I could (it was about whether or not to start a new project), and clicked the button.
- The screen changed, and there was this one card, face down, in the middle.
- I clicked it.
- It flipped over, and it was, one card of tarot. And, it has some advice text that helps explain it to me.
I won’t bore you with the card details, but,it gave me a pretty clear “yes” along with a short sentence about taking a chance. I was like, whoa.
Now, I’m not saying I made my decision solely based on that card. But it did give me a little nudge, a little extra push in one direction. It helped me break the endless cycle of “yes” and “no” in my head.
After that, I spent some time actually thinking about why the “yes” answer resonated with me. It wasn’t just about blindly following the card, but about using it as a starting point for some real self-reflection. I listed out the pros and cons, talked to a friend, and finally made my decision.
In the end, I decided to go for it – to start the project! And so far, so good. It’s been a fun, I feel much relieved!
