Okay, so today I wanted to try something a little different, something a bit… mystical. I decided to do an “angel card” reading. I’ve seen people talk about these online and, honestly, I was curious. So, I went for it!
Getting Started
First, I needed to find some angel cards. I did have a phone app all set up on my desk. Opened it and I am all ready to go.
My Little Experiment
I took a few deep breaths, like I was trying to meditate or something. I focused on what’s been going on in my life lately – mostly work stress and figuring out some family stuff. Then, with all that in my head, I shuffle the card on the screen.

Pulling the Card
Alright, this is it! The app presents me with a spread of face-down cards. I tapped one, and it flipped over to reveal… “Forgiveness”. Hmm, interesting.
The card had a short description, basically saying that holding onto anger or resentment only hurts me. It talked about letting go of past hurts and embracing a more positive outlook.
My Initial Thoughts
To be honest, I was a bit surprised. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but “Forgiveness” felt… relevant. There have been a few things I’ve been holding onto, little annoyances and bigger frustrations. It made me think about whether those things were really worth the energy I was giving them.
Reflecting on It
I spent some time just sitting with the card, kind of like a mini-meditation. I thought about some specific situations where I could practice forgiveness, both towards others and, you know, myself. It wasn’t like a magical solution, but it did shift my perspective a bit.
Moving Forward
The app suggested some affirmations related to the card, things like “I release all resentment and embrace peace.” I repeated them a few times, and even though it felt a bit awkward at first, it was kind of calming.
So, that was my little angel card experiment! It was definitely interesting. Will it change my life? I don’t know. But it did give me something to think about, and a gentle reminder to focus on letting go of the negative stuff. Maybe I’ll try it again sometime!
