Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this idea of making a “tarot coin” thing. It’s like, you know, those decision-making coins, but with a tarot twist. I’m no artist, so I knew I wanted it to be more about the symbolism than, like, intricate drawings.
First, I grabbed a plain wooden disc from a craft store. Nothing fancy, just a basic circle. I wanted it to be a decent size, so it would fit in my hand nicely, you know?
Then, I started thinking about the imagery. I decided to go with the classic “Yes/No” concept, but using tarot cards instead of just plain words. For “Yes,” I chose The Sun – pretty straightforward, right? Positive vibes, good outcomes, all that jazz.

For “No,” I went with The Tower. Again, seemed pretty obvious. Disruption, unexpected change, generally not what you want when you’re looking for a positive answer.
Now, for the actual making part. I’m terrible at drawing, so I printed out tiny versions of The Sun and The Tower cards from some online images. Just basic Rider-Waite style, nothing too complicated.
I cut out the little images and carefully glued them onto either side of the wooden disc. I used a basic glue stick – so simple even I could make it.
Once the glue was dry, I applied a couple of coats of clear varnish. I just brushed it on to protect the images and give the coin a bit of a finished look. It also made it feel a little more… durable, I guess.
And that’s it! My tarot coin was done. It’s super simple, but I like it. It’s not some artistic masterpiece, but it works for me. I can flip it when I’m feeling indecisive, and it gives me a little tarot-inspired guidance. Or at least, a fun way to make a choice!

How I Use It:
Whenever I’m stuck on a simple yes/no question, I hold the coin, focus on the question, and give it a good flip. Whatever side lands facing up is my answer. It’s a fun little ritual, and I think it helps me connect with my intuition a bit, even if it’s just through a silly coin!
