Okay, so I’ve been feeling a bit off lately, you know, just not my usual energetic self. I stumbled upon this “3 of Cups Health” thing online and thought, “Why not give it a shot?” It seemed pretty straightforward, focusing on joy, connection, and celebration as a path to better well-being. Sounds kinda fluffy, but I was willing to try anything.
My “3 of Cups Health” Experiment
First, I figured I needed some actual fun.
- I started by reaching out to some old friends I hadn’t talked to in ages.
- We ended up having a spontaneous video call, just laughing and reminiscing about old times. It felt really, really good. Like a weight lifted.
Next, I wanted to embrace the “celebration” part.

- I used to dance a lot, So I put on some of my favorite tunes and just danced around my living room like a goofball.
- Seriously, I haven’t felt that carefree in years! It was surprisingly uplifting.
Then, I decided to, find the connection thing.
- I have a small gathering, cooked up some simple snacks, put some music, invited a couple of close friends over.
- We just chilled, talked, played some board games. It was low-key, but exactly what I needed.
I gotta say, I was skeptical at first. But after a few days of actively doing these things – reaching out, celebrating little moments, just connecting with people I care about – I actually started feeling better. More alive, more like myself. It wasn’t some magic cure, but it was a definite shift in the right direction. I even slept better!
I wouldn’t say I am totally convert, but it’s definitely made me realize how important these simple things are, and I will keep doing.
