Okay, so I wanted to dive into this whole “10 of Swords as how someone sees you” thing. It’s been popping up a lot, and honestly, it sounds pretty harsh, right? Like, total defeat, rock bottom… yikes. So, I decided to actually try pulling some cards and see what happened.
My Little Experiment
First, I cleared my space. You know, lit a candle, made sure the cat wasn’t going to jump on the table. The usual. Then I shuffled my deck, focusing on the question, “How does [specific person’s name] see me?” I’m not gonna lie, I was nervous. I mean, what if it was the 10 of Swords?
I pulled three cards, just to get a fuller picture. You know, not just one potentially scary card.
- Card 1: The Past – How they used to see me.
- Card 2: The Present – How they see me now. (This is where the 10 of Swords could have shown up.)
- Card 3: The Potential – How their view of me might change.
The Reveal (and It Wasn’t What I Expected)
Okay, so drumroll… I didn’t get the 10 of Swords. Phew!
For the “Present” card, I actually got the Five of Cups. Which, yeah, still kinda negative, It’s about loss, and focusing on what’s wrong. Maybe, they had a lot of loss *, I think the person does see some negativity or some feeling when he is around me, but I don’t think it’s as dramatic as “total ruin.” I think how he sees me.
My Takeaway
This whole thing reminded me that tarot is complex, and it’s really, really about context. One card, even a traditionally “bad” one, doesn’t tell the whole story. And even if someone does see you in a negative light, it doesn’t mean you’re doomed! It could just mean they’re projecting their own stuff, or maybe there’s been a misunderstanding. It’s all about perspective, I guess. And maybe, just maybe, talking to the person directly is a better idea than freaking out over a card pull.
Anyway that is what I have tried and I hope it could help you!
