What a Dream of Tarot Cards? Interpreting Your Dreams.

What a Dream of Tarot Cards? Interpreting Your Dreams.

Okay, so the other day I got this wild idea to try and, like, dream about tarot cards. Sounds kinda out there, I know, but I’ve been messing around with lucid dreaming lately, and I figured, why not?

Getting Started

First thing, I needed to, you know, actually see some tarot cards. I don’t own a deck, so I just pulled up some images online. Spent a good chunk of the evening just staring at them, trying to burn the images into my brain. Specifically, I focused on The Fool, The Magician, and The High Priestess. Just seemed like a good starting trio.

Setting the Stage

Before bed, I did my usual pre-lucid dreaming routine. You know, reality checks throughout the day (counting my fingers, trying to push my hand through a wall – the usual stuff). Then, right before I hit the hay, I repeated my intention: “I will dream of tarot cards. I will see The Fool, The Magician, and The High Priestess.” Said it like a mantra, over and over.

Into the Dream

I can’t say for sure when I actually fell asleep, or when the dream started. But at some point, I found myself walking down this weird, cobblestone street. It felt…old. And everything had this hazy, dreamlike quality. Then, bam! There it was – a giant, glowing tarot card floating right in front of me. It was The Fool, just like I’d pictured. It was way bigger than I expected, though, and kinda intimidating.

Deeper Dive

I walked around The Fool card, trying to touch it, but my hand just went right through. It was like a hologram or something. Then, the scene shifted. Suddenly, I was in this…I don’t know…magical workshop? And there was The Magician, standing behind a table covered in all sorts of tools and symbols. He didn’t say anything, just kinda smirked at me. Creepy, but cool.

  • It’s worth noting that while the images were vivid, the “meaning” wasn’t there. I was just seeing the cards, not getting any cosmic wisdom or anything.

The Final Card

The last scene was the weirdest. I was in this dark, blue-lit room, and The High Priestess was sitting on a throne. She was surrounded by water, and it felt super peaceful, but also kinda…lonely. I tried to talk to her, but I couldn’t make any sound. Then I woke up.

The Aftermath

So, yeah, that was my tarot card dream experiment. Did I get any profound insights? Nope. Was it a cool experience? Definitely! I think I’ll try it again, maybe focus on different cards next time. Or maybe try to actually interact with the figures in the dream. Who knows what’ll happen?

It is just a cool experience and maybe will do it again in other ways.
