Okay, so I saw this “what does 38 mean” thing floating around and got curious. I’m always up for a little self-reflection, so I figured, why not?
My Dive into 38
First, I googled it, obviously. Found some numerology stuff. Apparently, 38 is all about being artistic and expressive, and somehow making money while doing it. Sounds pretty sweet, right?
Next,I started thinking about my own life.

- Am I artistic?
- And expressive?
- Do I get materially fulfilled?
Honestly I do a bit of creative work. And the “getting materially fulfilled” part… well, I’m working on it! It’s not like I’m rolling in dough, but I’m definitely trying to make my creative pursuits, you know, actually pay for things.
Then, I jotted down some notes. I listed out all the creative things I’ve been up to lately – some writing, messing around with my drawings, trying new * felt good to actually see it all written down.
Then I considered the “business manager” aspect of the definition. I’m not a manager, per se, but I do have to manage my own creative projects. That means deadlines, budgets (sort of!), and figuring out how to get my stuff out there. It’s a whole different skillset, and it’s definitely a challenge.
After that, I spent some time really thinking about how I could be more expressive. I’m not always the best at putting myself out there, so that’s something I need to work on. Maybe sharing more of my process, even the messy bits.
Finally, I realized that this whole 38 thing is actually pretty motivating. It’s a reminder that it’s possible to combine creativity and, well, making a living. It’s not an either/or situation. It’s a reminder to keep pushing, keep creating, and keep figuring out how to make it all work.
So, yeah, that’s my little adventure into the meaning of 38. It’s not magic, but it’s a good nudge in the right direction.
