Okay, so I’ve been seeing “357” pop up everywhere lately – on TikTok, in memes, even overheard some kids saying it at the grocery store. I’m not that old, but I definitely felt out of the loop. So, I decided to do a little digging and figure out what this whole 357 thing is about.
My Deep Dive into 357
First, I just Googled it. Straight up, “357 meaning.” You know, the usual. I got a bunch of random stuff – a gun, some area codes, even a Bible verse. Definitely not what I was looking for.
Then, I went to Urban Dictionary. That place is usually pretty good for slang, but even there, the definitions were all over the place. Some said it was a code for “I love you,” others said it meant something totally different. It was a mess.
Next, I headed over to TikTok. Figured I’d see it in action. I searched #357 and scrolled through a bunch of videos. Mostly, it seemed like people were just using it as a random hashtag to get more views. There were a few videos that tried to explain it, but they were all super vague and didn’t really make sense.
Finally I decided to ask my nieces friends what’s going on with this. I did that and get the clear answer, It’s amazing!
What I Found Out, FINALLY
It took me a while to understand what’s meaning.
Here’s how I got the result:
- 3 words: “I Love You”
- 5 words: “I Want To Marry You”
- 7 words: “Will You Be With Me Forever”
The funny thing is, I don’t think everyone the internet knows it, it’s kind of a code, or it could be something a lot of people still figuring out. I’ll update this as I find out more.
