Okay, here is my sharing about my card reading day:
So, I got into this whole card reading thing a while back. I mean, who hasn’t seen those folks flipping cards and thought, “Hey, that looks kinda cool?” I decided to give it a shot myself. No magic wand or crystal ball, just me and a deck of cards. I started with those three-card spreads everyone talks about. Past, present, future—you know the drill.
I remember the first time I tried it, I laid out the cards, and honestly, I felt like a total newbie, had no idea. But I grabbed a basic guide and a notebook—my so-called “Tarot journal.” Sounds fancy, huh? I began jotting down what each card could mean, what I thought about it, you get it. It was kinda messy, but hey, I was learning, and it was all trial and error for me.

My Little Setup
I didn’t go all out with the mystical setup, you know. Some people create this whole elaborate ritual space, but I just cleared off a spot on my desk. I did make sure it was quiet, though. No loud music or noisy distractions. I even lit a candle, just one, ’cause it felt right. That was my way of getting into the zone.
Picking a Deck
Choosing a deck was the fun part. There are so many out there! I ended up getting one that just felt good in my hands. Nothing too wild or crazy, just something that spoke to me, I guess. And I stuck with it, day in and day out.
Doing the Reading
- First, I shuffled the cards. I wasn’t sure if there was a “right” way to do it, so I just did what felt natural.
- Then, I spread them out face down and picked three.
- I flipped them over one by one and consulted my little journal to see what they might mean.
- I thought about how each card related to my question or situation. Sometimes it clicked right away, other times I had to think on it for a bit.
It was more about what the cards sparked in my own head rather than some mystical revelation. It’s all about how you interpret them. It was really interesting to see how my thoughts developed each time I did a reading. It became a sort of daily reflection for me. And yeah, it was kinda fun to look back on my notes and see how my interpretations evolved over time.
So, that’s my card reading story. No big secrets, no magic tricks. Just me, some cards, and a whole lot of thinking. It’s a chill way to check in with myself and see things from a different angle. Maybe I’ll keep doing it, maybe I won’t, but it’s definitely been an interesting ride.
