I’m gonna show you guys how I did this cool thing with “i fate yes no.” It’s a fun little project I’ve been playing around with, and it’s pretty simple, but I think it’s neat.

So, first, I started messing around with the idea. It was just a random thought, like, “What if I could flip a coin or something online?” And then it hit me – “i fate yes no” could be a thing! I got this idea to make a simple program to make decisions. You know, when you can’t decide between pizza or burgers.

I opened up my computer. I thought about what I needed. Basically, it’s just a yes or no answer, right? So, I made two sections on the screen.

Set up yes or no section

  • Set up a “yes” section.
  • Set up a “no” section.

I started building it from scratch. I wrote some code to randomly pick between “yes” or “no.” It took a bit of trial and error, trying different things. I used some basic code stuff to make it happen. It wasn’t super fancy, but it worked. I played around with the design, made it look okay. Nothing too complicated, just a clean interface.

Then, I tested it out a bunch of times. I wanted to make sure it was really random. So, I clicked the button, like, a hundred times, and I wrote down the results each time. It seemed pretty balanced, half “yes” and half “no.”

After that, I added a little feature where you can type in your question. It doesn’t really do anything, it’s just for fun. So you feel like you’re really asking something, you know? I wanted to make it more interactive.

Making it visual

  • Made it look nice with some colors.
  • Added a button to click.

Finally, I got it working the way I wanted. It was a fun little project. Now I have this thing where I can just click a button, and it gives me a “yes” or “no.” It’s silly, but I use it all the time now. Like, “Should I have another cup of coffee?” Click, and boom, there’s my answer.

It was a fun experience, and I learned a lot doing it. I might add more to it later, maybe some animations or sounds. Who knows? But for now, it’s my little “i fate yes no” thing, and I’m pretty happy with it.
