So, I had this crazy idea last night to mess around with tarot cards. I’ve always been a bit curious about them, you know, the whole mystical vibe and all. I figured, why not give it a shot? I mean, what’s the worst that could happen, right?
First things first, I grabbed my laptop and did a quick search online to find a decent set of virtual tarot cards. There are tons of them out there, but I found one that looked pretty legit and easy to use.
Next, I cleared a space on my desk, lit a couple of candles to set the mood – gotta have the ambiance, you know? – and took a few deep breaths to get myself centered. I mean, I wanted to approach this with a somewhat open mind, even if I was still a bit skeptical.

I started with a simple three-card spread, which is supposed to represent the past, present, and future. I clicked on the virtual deck, focused on a question I had in my mind – something about a career move I’ve been contemplating – and then selected three cards.
The first card, representing the past, was The Star. Apparently, it symbolizes hope, inspiration, and having the right intentions. This resonated with me because I did feel I was in a good place to start thinking about change.
- The second card, representing the present, was The Tower. Now, this one’s a bit intense. It’s all about upheaval, major change, and things falling apart. Honestly, it kind of freaked me out a little. But I guess it does reflect the current uncertainty I’m feeling about my job situation.
- The third card, for the future, was The World. This one is supposed to signify completion, fulfillment, and achieving your goals. So, that’s definitely a positive sign, right? It made me feel a bit more optimistic about the whole thing.
After getting the reading, I spent some time reflecting on what the cards supposedly meant. I jotted down some notes in my journal, trying to connect the imagery and symbolism to my own life and the question I had asked. It was actually a pretty interesting exercise in introspection, even if you don’t fully buy into the whole tarot thing.
I did a few more readings, asking different questions and trying out different spreads. Some of the cards that came up were consistent, while others were all over the place. It was kind of like putting together pieces of a puzzle, trying to make sense of it all.
By the end of the night, I wouldn’t say I’m a complete tarot convert, but I definitely gained a new appreciation for it. It’s more than just predicting the future; it’s a tool for self-reflection and exploring your own thoughts and feelings. Maybe those cards do have a little magic in them after all. But who knows! I just had some fun and learned a bit more about myself in the process.
