Okay, so, today I wanna talk about something called “expression number 9”. Honestly, I stumbled upon this while I was down a rabbit hole on the internet, you know how it is. One minute you’re looking up cat videos, the next you’re deep into numerology. Anyway, I got curious and decided to mess around with this expression number stuff, specifically number 9.
First, I had to figure out what this whole “expression number” thing even means. Turns out, it’s from numerology, which is kind of like this old-school belief that numbers have, like, special meanings and can tell you stuff about your personality and life. Don’t ask me how, it is too complex. I just did what I found on the internet.
So, I started digging around, trying to understand what number 9 is all about. I found this online calculator, I typed in my name, followed some steps that I do not even understand, and bam, it spat out a number. And guess what? It wasn’t 9. Disappointing, right? I thought, maybe it is because I used my English name, so I tried my Chinese name, it was still not 9. But I was determined, so I started experimenting with different variations of my name, like adding my middle name, using nicknames, the whole shebang. Still no luck.
Then, I thought, screw it, I’m just gonna pretend I got a 9 and see what happens. I mean, who’s gonna know, right? It’s just me, myself, and I. So I started reading about the traits associated with number 9. Apparently, these people are supposed to be, like, super kind, caring, and empathetic. They’re the ones who are always there for their friends, you know, the ultimate good guys.
I read on. Number 9 folks are also supposed to be into jobs like teaching, charity work, or anything that involves helping others. Makes sense, given the whole kindness thing. I thought about my current job for a sec, which has nothing to do with any of that, but hey, who knows, maybe my number 9 alter ego has a secret desire to be a teacher.
And then there’s the whole relationship thing. The internet said that number 9 people are super involved and sympathetic in their relationships, but sometimes they can be taken advantage of because they’re so nice. I had to think about that one for a minute. Am I too nice? Probably not, but it’s an interesting thought. I do not even have a girlfriend yet, so this part is kind of useless for me.

After spending a good chunk of time diving into this number 9 world, I realized that even though I didn’t actually get a 9, it was still kind of fun to explore. It’s like trying on a different personality for a day. And who knows, maybe there’s a little bit of that number 9 energy in all of us, just waiting to be unlocked.
Ultimately, my little experiment with expression number 9 didn’t change my life or anything, but it did give me something to think about. And it was a fun distraction from the usual daily grind. Maybe I’ll try it again sometime, and maybe, just maybe, I’ll finally get that magical number 9. Or maybe not. Either way, it’s all good.
