Okay, so I’ve been messing around with tarot cards lately, just for fun, you know? And today, I decided to do a simple “yes or no” reading about something I’ve been kinda stressing over. I pulled The Empress, but it was reversed. Let me tell you the whole story.
First, I shuffled the deck really well. I mean, really well. I wanted to make sure the cards were good and mixed up, no lingering energy from previous readings or anything like that. I even fanned them out on the table and ran my hands over them a few times, just to, like, connect with them, I guess.
Then, I focused on my question. It was something pretty specific.I closed my eyes, took a few deep breaths, and really tried to clear my mind of everything else. Just the question, front and center.

The Pull
I picked a card. Just one. And boom, The Empress. But upside down. Reversed. My initial reaction? Total confusion. I mean, The Empress is usually all about abundance, nurturing, and good vibes, right? So, reversed… what did that even mean in a “yes or no” context?
I grabbed my little guidebook that came with the deck. Skimmed through the “reversed” section for The Empress. Words like “blockages,” “lack of growth,” and “dependence” jumped out at me. Not exactly screaming “yes,” huh?
- Blockages: Maybe something is standing in the way of what I want.
- Lack of growth: Could mean things aren’t going to progress as I hoped.
- Dependence:This made me thinking. Am I relying too much on something or someone else for the outcome?
I sat there for a while, just staring at the card. My gut feeling? It was leaning towards a “no,” or at least a “not right now.” It felt like the cards were telling me to re-evaluate, maybe look at things from a different angle, or address whatever these “blockages” might be. It is not a definite no,but it needs me to make more efforts.
So, yeah, that’s my “The Empress reversed” yes or no reading story. A little bit of a bummer, maybe, but also kinda helpful. It definitely gave me something to think about, and that’s what I was looking for, in a way.I decided to do another draw tomorrow.
