So, the other day, I got into this whole tarot thing, right? And I pulled out The Hanged One card. Now, I’m no expert, but this card got me thinking, you know?
First off, I laid out the cards, just like I saw on one of those YouTube videos. And boom, there it was, The Hanged One, staring right at me. This card, it’s a dude hanging upside down, but he looks all chill, like he’s just taking a break from the world. So, I started digging into what it’s all about.
My Little Experiment
I decided to do a little experiment. Whenever I felt stuck or confused, I’d think about this card. It was like, “Okay, what would The Hanged One do?” Sounds goofy, but it kinda worked.

- There was this time at work when I had this huge project, and I was totally overwhelmed.
- Instead of freaking out, I took a step back. I imagined myself like the guy on the card, just hanging there, seeing things from a different angle.
- And guess what? I started seeing solutions I hadn’t thought of before.
The Big Realization
It wasn’t just about work, though. In my personal life, especially with relationships, I realized I was always rushing, trying to fix things. The Hanged One, it taught me to slow down, to let things unfold. Like, instead of reacting right away, I’d take a moment, breathe, and think.
- With my friends, when there was a misunderstanding, I didn’t jump to conclusions.
- I tried to see things from their perspective, like flipping my view upside down.
Not All Smooth Sailing
Now, don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t all smooth sailing. There were times when I felt like I was just stuck, not really moving forward. But then I realized, that’s part of it, right? The Hanged One isn’t about being stuck; it’s about choosing to pause, to reflect.
Wrapping It Up
So, that’s my story with The Hanged One. It’s not some magic fix, but it’s a cool way to remind myself that sometimes, it’s okay to just hang back, take a different look at things, and maybe, just maybe, you’ll see something you didn’t before. It’s all about perspective, I guess. And hey, it’s a pretty neat way to deal with all the crazy stuff life throws at you.
Anyway, that is what I did with this card today. Hope you can get something from my little practice.
