Okay, so I’ve been seeing the number 38 everywhere lately. On license plates, receipts, even my coffee order number the other day. It felt like more than just a coincidence, so I decided to look into it. I’m not really into numerology, but hey, why not?
Digging into Numerology
First, I tried to find out what this whole “numerology” thing was about. Turns out, it’s basically the study of numbers and their supposed mystical significance in our lives. I started by reading a bunch of websites. They all said different things, which was kind of confusing, but I got the general idea.
My Experiment with 38
Next, I decided to see if there was anything special about 38. I mean, I saw it everywhere, so I figured I’d try to figure out what it meant. I started by writing down every time I saw the number.

- Monday: Saw it on a bus, then again on a price tag at the grocery store.
- Tuesday: It was the number of unread emails I had, and then my lunch bill came out to $38. Weird.
- Wednesday: This is where it got a bit spooky. My friend randomly texted me, “Hey, have you ever thought about the significance of 38?” I hadn’t even told her about my little experiment!
- Thursday: I decided to embrace the 38 and bought a lottery ticket ending in 38. Didn’t win anything, but it was fun.
- Friday: I tried to listen to my gut about number 38 and ended up taking a different route home, found a cool little bookstore I never knew existed.
My Takeaway
So, after all this, do I think 38 is my magical number now? Honestly, I don’t know. I will say that it was fun paying attention to it for a week. It made me more aware of my surroundings, and the whole lottery ticket and bookstore thing were cool coincidences. I guess numerology might have something to it, or maybe it’s just a fun way to see patterns in the world. Either way, I’m glad I took this little detour into the world of 38. I might keep an eye out for it, just for fun. And maybe, just maybe, it’ll lead me to more cool bookstores or winning lottery tickets.
Who knows, might do this again with another number, just to see what happens.
