Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this “Wheel of Fortune Keywords” thing, and let me tell you, it’s been a trip. I started off just poking around, you know, seeing what all the fuss was about. I saw some folks online, on like Reddit and stuff, talking about the best letters to pick in that bonus round. You get those letters, R, S, T, L, N, E, for free, but then you gotta choose a few more. And apparently, there’s some strategy to it. That is a surprise to me.
I started watching the show a little closer. I mean, I’ve seen it a million times, but I never really paid attention to the letters people were picking. So, I grabbed a notebook and started making some notes. Every time someone got to the bonus round, I wrote down the puzzle category, the letters they picked, and whether they solved it or not.
- First thing I noticed: People pick C, D, M, and A a lot. Like, a LOT. I guess those are some pretty common letters.
- Second thing: Sometimes, people pick some really weird letters, like Q or Z. I mean, I get it, maybe they’re hoping for a lucky break, but it rarely works out.
After a couple of weeks of doing this, I had a decent little pile of data. I’m no statistician or anything, but I figured I could at least see if there were any patterns. So I started tallying things up, making little charts and stuff. I know it is not a complicated thing, but I still spend some time on it. It is kind of like doing a puzzle, you know?

My “Expert” Findings
So after all my “research,” here’s what I figured out. Those common letters, C, D, M, A? Yeah, they’re common for a reason. They showed up a lot in the puzzles I tracked. But here’s the real kicker – sometimes, picking a slightly less common letter, like G or P, actually worked out better. It’s like, everyone else is zigging with the C, D, M, A, and you zag with a G or a P, and boom, you’ve got an edge.
I even started playing along at home, using my “system.” And, no joke, I started solving more puzzles! Okay, maybe it was just luck, or maybe I was just paying more attention, but it felt like I was onto something. Then I try to share with my friends, they think I lost my mind.
This whole thing has been a fun little project. It’s not like I’m gonna become a professional “Wheel of Fortune” player or anything, but it’s cool to see how a little bit of observation and some basic tracking can actually make a difference. Plus, it makes watching the show way more interesting! That is the most important part of this little project.
