So, I tried out this angel free card reading thing today, and I gotta say, it was quite an experience. I’ve always been curious about these kinds of things, but I’ve never really given them a go. You know, gotta keep an open mind, right?

First off, I found a quiet spot in my house. I needed somewhere I could just chill and not be disturbed. I lit a couple of candles, not for any specific reason, just to set a relaxing mood. Then, I sat down and took a few deep breaths. It’s important to clear your head before doing something like this, at least that’s what I think.

Next, I closed my eyes and tried to focus on what I wanted to get out of this reading. I didn’t have any specific questions in mind, just wanted to see what the cards had to say. I mean, who knows what kind of wisdom they might offer? After a few minutes of this, I felt pretty relaxed and ready to go.

I picked up my deck of angel cards that I got as a gift a while back. Never really used them before, so it was kind of exciting. I shuffled them a few times, just getting a feel for the cards. Then, I laid them out in a simple spread that I remembered from a book I skimmed through once.

Here’s how it went down:

  • First card: This one was supposed to represent the present situation. And guess what? It was a card about ‘peace’. Seriously, it was all about finding inner peace and harmony. Pretty accurate, considering I’ve been trying to meditate more lately.
  • Second card: This card was about what I needed to focus on. It showed up as a card talking about ‘creativity’ and ‘self-expression’. Makes sense, I’ve been feeling a bit stuck in a rut lately, maybe I need to pick up that old guitar again.
  • Third card: This was the outcome card, and it was all about ‘abundance’ and ‘new opportunities’. Well, who wouldn’t want that? It kind of gave me a little boost of hope, you know?

After the reading, I sat there for a while, just thinking about what each card meant to me. It was interesting to see how they seemed to relate to my current life situation. I wouldn’t say it was life-changing or anything, but it definitely gave me some food for thought.

I wrote down the cards I got and some notes about my feelings and thoughts in my journal. Figured it would be cool to look back on this later and see if anything resonates down the line. It’s like keeping a little spiritual diary, or something like that.

Overall Impression

It was a fun and kind of insightful experience. I’m not sure if I totally believe in this stuff, but it was a nice way to spend an afternoon and do a bit of self-reflection. Maybe I’ll try it again sometime. Who knows, the cards might have something different to say next time.

Anyone else tried this kind of thing before? What did you think? Let me know in the comments!
